Walking Along the Boise River
Bringing photos to life!
Walking along the Boise River, my eyes caught a glimpse of the distant foothills covered in snow. I made this photo and then, upon returning home, put it up on my laptop.
It’s a decent photo. Not bad. But the colors don’t represent the vividness that caused me to pause my walk, enjoy a moment to take in the scene, and then click off several photos of the view.
So…I went to work.

First, I cropped the photo and applied a basic enhancement.

Any photo can become black and white. This is a basic black and white with no extra frills.
