Oh...the view
Our daughter recently spent the day helping a friend paint her living room. When we went out to the farm land south of town to say “hello,” the sun was just beginning makes its way toward the horizon. The views were beautiful. This photo I love because of its simplicity.
One definition of “view” is to see or behold.
How often to we pause to look…and see…to behold the world around us?
In particular, to what level to we see the people around us?
The Gospels are filled with stories of Jesus seeing people; most often those people that “respectable” people refused acknowledge, and definately were not willing interact with or invest their time in.
On this journey of grace we are called to grow in Christlikeness. That means learning to see people like Jesus saw them; seeing the kinds of people that Jesus saw; trusting the Holy Spirit to teach us, guide us, and empower us.
Take time to look up and see the view.
