This past Sunday, I published a new piece of poetry entitled “Never Forget"—check it out if you haven’t already. I was writing this from within the framework of the common September 11 reminder to never forget what occurred that day and the people who lost their lives in this horrific event.
My hope is that we don’t get stuck in the rut of only remembering the attack, the people that lost their lives, and the aftermath that followed. As we remember these things, I hope that doing so helps make us better people — more kind, more compassionate, and more “present” in our lives here and now.
In this frame of mind, I wrote “Never Forget” as a reminder of some of the attitudes, words, and actions we should never forget as we go about living our lives.
So, please take a moment and read these first three Never Forget devotional thoughts here:
And while we’re at it, here are a few more recent stories, in case you missed them:
Thank you, friends — have a fantastically blessed day!
